Child & Adolescent Therapy

Harness the power of connection and creativity in a safe space to help your child grow and thrive.

Therapy helps young people learn who they are and build skills that last lifetime.

Therapy helps kids slow down and check in with themselves. They learn about their emotions, how they experience them in their body, and how to let people know what they need when they are stressed.

Parents can learn how to support their child’s learning and growth through supported conversations with their child as well as parent coaching sessions.

Children and teens also learn about relationships, how to handle teasing, and ways to set healthy boundaries. As their self-awareness and skills increase, their self-esteem improves as well. They understand how their brain and body work better, and use tools and strategies that help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

I work with children and teens experiencing:

Our work together may include:

  • Practice communicating their thoughts and feelings through games and relaxed conversation

  • Role play and imaginary play

  • Using creative tools (like art, journaling, music or sand tray) for greater self-expression

My style is warm and interactive. I strive to communicate a deep respect and genuine curiosity about the young person’s unique lived experience. I balance education with play in a way that allows kids to relax and be open to learning new skills. Regardless of how old the child is, I involve them in the problem-solving process, helping them feel more empowered and invested in change.

A white bookshelf with four shelves contains children's books, toys, puzzles, art supplies, and a stuffed animal. The top of the bookshelf has a small window with drawings of two ducks by a lake, and decorative items including a bird toy, a pink pig, a lamp, a colorful wheel, and a container of sensory putty.

Let’s work together to help your child grow and thrive.
